Steam Locomotive TKh 5387 named “General Maczek”
was was built in 1959 in Poland and
worked there until 1990 as a switch engine in a cement yard. In 1994 the
locomotive was taken over by the NLR
(Northampton & Lamport Railway) of Brittan and in 2000 restored to be used as
a tourist train with the NLR for 2 years. In 2006 she was taken over by the
Maldegem Steam Center, a heritage railway located in northern Belgium. She is
back in service after a further restoration as a heritage steam train in
Maldegem.
