Sejourne Viaduct, France.

Sejourne Viaduct also known as the Stayed Bridge and Bridge Fontedrouse is a railway bridge allowing the Cerdanya Line crossing at Tet. The bridge was constructed between 1906 and 1908 and is named after the engineer who built it Paul Sejourne. It was declared a historical monument on 30th December 1994. The Little Yellow Train also known as the Le Petit Train travels on the bridge.

The Spiral Tunnels, British Columbia, Canada.

Canadian Pacific built the Spiral Tunnels which was opened for rail traffic in 1908 to reduce the grade of the track bed at Big Hill near Kicking Horse Pass in the Canadian Rockies. More than 25 trains pass through the Spiral Tunnels daily. It was declared a National Historic site in 1971.

Golden Spike National Historic Railway Monument, Utah, U. S. A.

The "Golden Spike" (aka "The Last Spike") is the ceremonial final spike driven to join the rails of the first Transcontinental rail road across the U.S.A connecting the Central Pacific and Union Pacific rail roads on 10 May 1869 at Promontory Summit, Utah. Each year on May 10th, a ceremony is held at Promontory Summit where Union Pacific Loco No 119 and Central Pacific Loco No 60 (aka the "Jupiter") are drawn face to face.

It is a stop for all Akita and Tohoku Shinkansen trains, the eastern terminus for the Senzan line, and major stop on both the Tohoku Main Line and Senseki Line. The station was opened on 15th December 1887. It serves the largest amount of passengers in the greater Tokyo area.
