This stem loco bearing # 50, a Schwartzkopff is on display at the Railway Museum in Port Velho. The museum was once the Estacao da Ferrovia, Ferroviaria Railway station on the Medeira to Manmore railway built between 1871 -1812. and closed down in 1972. The once excellent museum is now closed. The locomotives including this one has long since seen their last maintenance due to lack of funds.Whether it's an almost vertical shuttle up a mountain or a voyage aboard a luxury carriage, a rail journey can be a unforgettable experience.
