Glacier Discovery, Alaska, U. S. A.

The Glacier Discovery runs on the Alaska Railroad between Anchorage and Grandview located 1063 feet above sea level. The train picks up the shore of Turnagain Arm, where beluga whales feed on small fish and salmon heading to spawning grounds. This area is part of the Chugach National Forest

Here you can see the train traveling along the Turnagain Arm with views of the Chugach Mountains.
