The Amsterdam tramway network forms part of the public transport system in Amsterdam. Opened in 1875, the network has been operated since 1943 by  Gemeentelijk Vervoebedrijf (GVB). Post Card shows a tram on Tram line 4 In the mid-1950. Amsterdam Central Railway Station is in the background.
