Built
in 1939, Loco No. 12004 is part of a series of six streamlined locomotives
capable of pulling trains to 140Km / h. They were the Atlantic Type 12 locos of the heritage Belgian
Railways. They were some of the finest locos ever built in Belgium. The last few
locos of this type were written off in 1962. The 12004 is preserved by
SNCB at the Treignes railway museum of heritage railway in the south of Belgium
and was used for the 150th Anniversary railways in Belgium in 1985
